Gunsynd Chevron

Gunsynd Chevron is an engineered European Oak floor in a warm reddish-brown tone, cut on an angle for a true chevron layout. Chevron gives a room a strong sense of direction, which reads especially well down long hallways and through open-plan living areas.

Each board is a genuine European Oak wear layer bonded over a multi-ply substrate, so it moves far less than solid timber as Melbourne swings from a wet winter to a dry summer. The surface carries a UV-cured polyurethane coating that shrugs off scuffing from shoes, chairs and pets.

We install it regularly in apartments and townhouses, where the right acoustic underlay keeps the neighbours happy. It is compatible with hydronic and electric underfloor heating when the system is commissioned correctly.
