Scandi Oak is a 14.5mm engineered European Oak floor in a natural mid-oak tone that suits almost any palette, in long, straight-laid planks. Straight-laid planks are the most forgiving format to install and the easiest to extend if you renovate the next room later.
Each board is a genuine European Oak wear layer bonded over a multi-ply substrate, so it moves far less than solid timber as Melbourne swings from a wet winter to a dry summer. The surface carries a UV-cured polyurethane coating that shrugs off scuffing from shoes, chairs and pets.
We install it regularly in apartments and townhouses, where the right acoustic underlay keeps the neighbours happy.
