French Lace

French Lace is a 15mm engineered European Oak floor in a pale, almost-white finish that bounces light around a room, in extra-wide planks. Wider boards mean fewer joins across the floor, which makes a room read as larger than it actually is.

Each board is a genuine European Oak wear layer bonded over a multi-ply substrate, so it moves far less than solid timber as Melbourne swings from a wet winter to a dry summer. The surface carries a UV-cured polyurethane coating that shrugs off scuffing from shoes, chairs and pets.

It works particularly well in open-plan living and dining areas, where one continuous floor ties the whole space together.
