Blackbutt 190Wide is an engineered Blackbutt floor in a versatile mid-tone finish, in 190mm wide boards. Boards this wide show the grain running through the timber instead of chopping it up every few centimetres.
The wear layer is genuine Blackbutt over a plywood core, which keeps the board dimensionally stable while showing the grain and colour the species is known for. The coating is applied in the factory under UV light, so there is no sanding, sealing or curing time on site.
It is popular in newer builds where the entire ground floor runs as one uninterrupted surface. It is compatible with underfloor heating, provided the subfloor moisture content is checked first. Come and look at it under real light at our Doncaster Road showroom in Balwyn North.
