Fraser is a 14.5mm engineered European Oak floor in a versatile mid-tone finish, in long, straight-laid planks. Straight-laid planks are the most forgiving format to install and the easiest to extend if you renovate the next room later.
Each board is a genuine European Oak wear layer bonded over a multi-ply substrate, so it moves far less than solid timber as Melbourne swings from a wet winter to a dry summer. The surface carries a UV-cured polyurethane coating that shrugs off scuffing from shoes, chairs and pets.
It is a common pick for renovations, where the new floor has to sit alongside existing joinery, doors and skirting.
