Grey Shadow Oak is a 7mm hybrid floor in a cool grey finish that sits comfortably with modern interiors, in long, straight-laid planks. Straight-laid planks are the most forgiving format to install and the easiest to extend if you renovate the next room later.
A rigid core makes this board fully waterproof, so spills, pet accidents and a wet mop are not a problem. It clicks together as a floating floor over most existing hard surfaces, and the attached acoustic backing takes the hollow sound out of footsteps.
We install it regularly in apartments and townhouses, where the right acoustic underlay keeps the neighbours happy. It is also fine over underfloor heating and in wet areas such as kitchens and laundries. Come and look at it under real light at our Doncaster Road showroom in Balwyn North.
